Jake and I played on one of the new games until Nanny and Grandad arrived to take Jake off to have a birthday shop at Toys R Us, and whilst he was out more presents and cards arrived in the post. Jake returned with the biggest Indiana Jones Lego set you've ever seen, and a remote control Meccano car! Then a little later Rew and Frances popped round with card and pressie before Mum got back and people started to arrive for our afternoon out.
Jake had decided that a good birthday treat would be to go to Dymchurch with some friends and so we loaded up Jake, Samuel, Joshua, Owen, Fraser and William into our car and Carolyn & Chris's, and headed off.
