Weekend

And so a busy but enjoyable weekend comes to a close. Right now I'm sat on the sofa, laptop on lap, dog snoring next to me, playing a couple of games of scrabble, and watching the last few holes of the golf - looking like Rory might become the world number one if he can hold it together for the last few holes.

Yesterday we made our way over to Bracknell once Nicky had done her lesson for the day, and it was lovely to see the Pitt family. We enjoyed the traditional lunch (love that chilli!), some good games (of football for some, and scrabble for others) and before we knew it, it was time to head over to the theatre.

Oliver was excellent, and Henry looked like he was having fun. Special mention for the 16 year-old who played Fagin - he was definitely the star of the show.

Back to the Bearman's, and by the time we got back it was pretty late. Nicky and I stayed up even later with Nigel and Teresa chatting over some cheese and wine for supper, and Henry and Jake disappeared off to the "den", not to be seen again until about 11 this morning.

Late breakfast today whilst we watched the surprising snow settle, before heading home this afternoon.

Football news mixed from today:

Jake's team (the one that he plays for) won. My team (the one that I support) didn't.
