Chelsea tour

Yesterday we took Jake up to London for a rather delayed summer holiday treat - a trip to Stamford Bridge. We got the train from Chatham and hopped in a cab at Victoria, arriving in time to get on the one o'clock tour.

Jake absolutely loved it - highlights being:

- going to the press room and getting a picture at the desk where all of the interviews are done and where all of the players sign their contracts;

- seeing the changing rooms, and in particular getting a picture with Frank Lampard's shirt;

- looking round the museum and getting a picture taken with the FA Cup and the Community Shield;

- and of course a trip to the Chelsea Megastore.

We didn't leave until about half past three, and in all of the excitement lunch had rather passed us by, so we wandered up Fulham Road to Pizza Express for a late lunch /early tea.

The next challenge is going to be getting some tickets for a match some time soon. Apparently, one of the families that Nicky goes to for tutoring are season ticket holders, so this might help!
