So, the M25 has been celebrating its 25th birthday recently, and to remind us all of how much we love it, today it stopped. Thanks to a fuel lorry having an accident at J8, the idea of travelling from home to Gatwick this morning was out of the question.
I made it out of the door and into the car, but caught a traffic report as I approached the end of the road, turned around and came home again.
Thankfully there was nothing in the diary today where showing up in person was an essential part of the day's events, so pretty much everything got done.
By the way, I thought that tonight's "Imagine" was fascinating, and I would really like to go and see Grayson Perry's exhibition at the British Museum.
