I arranged to have lunch with my lovely wife today - a rare weekday treat, but then proceeded to stand her up thanks to a combination of a talkative FD and a broken down lorry on the motorway.
Oops.
I am informed that I might be forgiven, but a final decision is to be delayed until after a birthday weekend coming up soon, when I will be given an opportunity to make amends.
