Outward

Jake has departed for his outward bound week. We dropped him off this morning, and he disappeared through the gate with his friends. He definitely was a little apprehensive, but hopefully by now he will be loving it and having a great time. I don't envy the teachers that have gone with them!

I've enjoyed my first day off from work - haven't done a whole lot, but then that was the point really.

Continuing our "year ago today" series, on this day last year we visited the California Academy of Sciences in San Francisco.
