The lovely people at the council (or no doubt the private contractors employed by them) have decided that we needed another bin. Three clearly just wasn't enough. Already we had one for garden rubbish, one for recycling, and one for everything else. As of today we have a 4th, this time for food waste. (actually, we have a 5th as well, to go in the kitchen to collect the food waste in before taking it out, but someone decreed "if you think that grey plastic thing is going on my worktop ..."!)
It's a good job we have some space down the side of the house to hide all these bins away. As for when they get emptied, who knows. We'll probably put them all out, or wait and see what the rest of the street does each Sunday evening!
